The summer heat swells to nigh unbearable. Nights do not bring the same relief they did before the solstice. Rain is extremely rare. If it rains at all, it comes in short intense bursts; hardly enough to soak the ground. Droughting and wildfires are commonplace in lowlands.
Januray 2023 The site month has changed! Old & new Solstice threads may still continue at your leisure. + The Forsaken Temple campaign has started! The opening thread can be found in Brelan. This is set with enough time after Solstice events that characters will have no issue doing both.

Here, you can use your hard earned Lyr to purchase some cool things for both yourself and your characters. Please continue reading for important information regarding the shop and how to spend your Lyr, as well as the form to purchase form the shop.
DISCLAIMER: Prices in the shop will be adjusted from time to time as the site and the shop grows. This is to keep things fair and in balance.

[attr="class","likedoinfo"] As with anything, in order to make this system as fair, accessible and easy to track as possible, there are rules in place to make sure this happens.
You can use Lyr from any of your accounts to purchase things from the shop. You CANNOT, however, pool your Lyr between accounts. For example: you cannot add the Lyr amount on your OOC account together with the Lyr amount on your character account to potentially double your Lyr pool. This is unfair and will throw out the balance of IC purchases items (such as Legendary items). If Ziggy has 200 Lyr on her staff account, she can use that as she wills, but she cannot use that in conjunction with the 300 Lyr on Lucian's account. Each account's Lyr is regarded on a per account basis, not per member.
If you have multiple characters, you CAN use Lyr from one character to purchase an item for a different character. For example. If I post more often with Keziah Vane, I will have more Lyr on his account. I can then use that Lyr to purchase something for Lucian Rivain.
Above, you will notice three different sections in the shop: Member, Kismet, and Black Market.
Items purchased from the Members section will apply to you, the member, OOC. They do not affect your character's directly. They only grant perks at the member level.
Items purchased from the Kismet section only apply to interactions from the NPC Kismet account (which is staff run). Depending on the item you purchase, you may receive a message from Kismet to detail what it is you would like from Kismet. If you don't respond to this PM, Kismet can do nothing, so if you make a Kismet purchase that requires player added detail, please respond promptly.
Items from the Black market are strictly IC. There are three levels of rarity: Uncommon, Rare and Legendary. Characters are limited to 6, 3 and 1 of these items respectively. This is in the interest of making sure there aren't any OP characters running around the site. If you purchase an item from the Black Market, staff will post an Inventory in your player sub-board (where your character profiles live) to keep track of what items you've purchased for which characters. It will be staff moderated, meaning you won't have editing privileges. Again, this is to keep everything fair.
