He was supposed to be finding a really old and valuable dwarven artifact, and was getting a decent amount of silver for it, so he was alright with the long travel time as it was a good balance to his currently stationary lifestyle in Thisbe.

The peredhel moved quickly through the streets of Hookton, noting familiar faces and exchanging pleasantries as he went. Though he knew exactly what he was looking for, and the general area it was located in, he still had to find a place to bed for the night so that he could begin his search early in the morning. And meet his partner for the expedition.

He walked placidly into the inn, noting a few of the really old regulars from back when even he was a youngling. He nodded, knowing they would not know of him, before grabbing a seat at the bar and waiting for the barkeep to ask for his order. The researcher who wanted the artifact knew some of Hookton's inhabitants personally, and so when Lucas said the phrase 'whiskey in the moonlight' he nodded and slid the peredhel a key. He slid the key into his hand and glanced at the tag, at the '13' written in gold-dusted charcoal. His pace would be leisurely, a smirk creeping onto his face at the secretive nature of it all.

It wouldn't take long for him to find the room he needed, and when he opened the door he found a rather pretty woman waiting for him.
