| HISTORY

Born Ghilassan Drakefall, his mother died in childbirth and his father (known only as The Drakefall) became extremely paranoid and overprotective of his only child. Withdrawing from society entirely, The Drakefall was often drunk or seized by melancholy as Ghilassan grew. A stern and overbearing figure, the ancient pureblooded elf carried a strong grudge against humans for the genophage that killed so many of his people and took the life of his beloved wife. He rarely allowed Ghilassan outside of their home and would become enraged if the child attempted to befriend humans. He never raised a hand to the child, yet that didn't stop The Drakefall from becoming a figure of terror to his son. This eventually led to Ghilassan running away from home as a teen and quickly getting recruited as a Judicar due to his impressive fighting skills. He never returned home and he's careful to wear masks on every job in case his father tracks him down.

Ghilassan earned his new legend name due to his skill with the bow and his green-fletched arrows which are said to fall as 'plentifully as the green leaves'. Soon after he earned this name, he met and fell head over heels for a dwarven warrior of impressive prowess and an even more impressive temper. After several attempts to court her the human way were scoffed at, Ghilassan became determined to prove his devotion by crafting a ring for her using dwarven techniques but of the lost elvish style. The rest, as they say, is history and Zeta Astyth Ashbane gave birth to a healthy baby boy dubbed Finnalath Ashleaf in a nod to both parents' legend marks. Ghilassan is a devoted father and husband despite his many trips abroad, and he's always careful to stay in contact with them whenever possible.
