The New Moon is a time of change and renewal but for the residents of Morar, there has always been something lurking in the dark, still waters of the lake. During the new moon, people have whispered that if you look at your reflection too long, it will drag you in and something else will take your place. Something with your eyes, your hair, but not your smile. Something other will walk in your footsteps.

Superstitions are just superstitions, however, aren't they?

Over time, the ancient mirrors were uncovered and no one saw the shadow follow their reflection. Over time, the Loch became a popular fishing destination and a place for children to play. They stopped talking of the Morag; they stopped talking of the shadows. And if the occasional drowning was dismissed? The Loch claims its payment sometimes, people would say.

Slowly, the residents of Morar forgot.

They forgot and slowly, in the absence of this belief, the veil began to tear. Some say it was because people forgot the old ways, some say it's because the dragons lost their magic, and some still say it's because no one drowns preteen girls in the still waters of the Loch under the new moon. Whatever the reason, the shadows return and now... They can leave the reflection.

Will the residents of Morar discover how to drive the Mirrors back to their own world, or is our world becoming victim to a slow invasion?
