FAMILY
Idrial isn’t aware of any family she has left. It is entirely possible that she has siblings, nieces, nephews, etc, or that her father (an elf) is still living, but she was exiled before she could know any of them. Azazeal Mysra is her best friend and chosen family.
FRIENDS
Exile and decades of isolation lends the peredhel to some social awkwardness at times and first impressions could be misleading. Idrial is one of the sweetest, most caring, generous, and loving people you could meet. Deep rooted fears of returning to a life of isolation unconsciously drives her to win over nearly every person she meets. Her loyalty, once established, is unyielding and a true asset for anyone that knows her.
ENEMIES
The healer doesn't have too many enemies on her list, nor does she have any notion of being on someone else's specifically. However, between her heritage, sex, magic abilities, and being marked as a witch, she is extremely prone to being discriminated against.
LOVERS
Idrial can come off as reserved, lacking confidence, or even prudish. All of which isn't necessarily untrue, but she is a very different person in bed and isn't hung up on being married or in a relationship first. In terms of romantic relationships, she's definitely in it for the long haul and won't waste a lot of time on something that has no potential for a future. While she cannot bear children of her own, being a mother one day is still very important to her.
OTHER
Idrial is possibly my favorite and most senior character in my arsenal. If you have a plot idea for this baby, I'm down for it. *grabby hands*
She is at a stage in her character development where she is extremely career-focused and will be looking to advance certain skills. Eventually, she would like to be able to open a some sort of business or businesses such as an apothecarial type shop or medical facility of some kind.
I honestly don’t have much of an idea, other than the fact that I actually think Salome and Idrial would get along really well. Salome is kind of odd (and might make a somewhat insulting remark about her being marked as a witch), but she means no harm. They’re both the same type of hybrid, and despite the fact Idrial is a lot older lmao I feel like Salome can not only learn a lot from her, but I think they could possibly be friends. I don’t think Sal is a stranger to be descrimated against either, but probably not to the extreme Idrial has been. Either way, I think these two could have a fabulous relationship.

Idrial is going to be very excited to meet Salome. I think there’s a lot they can learn from each other. Idrial is to medicine as Salome is to poisons. I suspect they may connect in some way over their being outcasts, even though their situations are rather different. Perhaps they’ll become business partners in the future too... 🤔
I don’t have any particular plot/thread ideas in mind for them either, but I bet once we get them together everything will unfold pretty organically
I want Thomas to have some peredhel buddies that he swaps advice with and maybe even has awkward not!friendships with. I feel like he and Idrial might be good awkward buddies together, where they can sit and uncomfortably have issues talking? As their powers are also a bit in reverse of each other's, I would be curious to see how they interact.

I could tooooootally see them being super awkward together. I think Idrial would want desperately to try to befriend Thomas - as she's never met another peredhel before - but their differences in personality and general life woes seems like it might be one of those things that just doesn't quite click and that could be really interesting to toy with. It could end up going a lot of ways we don't expect, as well, so I'm definitely game to see what happens! I may have her pop into that open thread of his, if only for an initial meeting ^^

Considering Jo wants to deter the stigma of magic, she wants to show people that magic users aren't evil or bad or to be feared and should be accepted and I think she would welcome Idrial if she ever needed a place to stay.

I could see them being allies, for sure! And it's also entirely possible they have met before - maybe even a handful of times. Idrial is close friends with Kira, has been to some of the major events at the Vanyar palace (Kira's introduction into society party, etc.), stayed as a guest there, and was a former (somewhat scandalous) love interest of Éodred's. She has also spent the last four years as King Isto's personal physician and travel companion, though recently resigned. I'm not sure what Isto & Josefin's relationship is going to be like yet ((heading over to that plotter next ;-) )), but I'm sure as leaders they've had some run-ins - and therefore Idrial as well - in the past few years, if only at Vanyar parties lol. On a professional standpoint, maybe Josefin seeks Idrial's help with her father's failing health?

Awesome! That's what I was thinking too re: Jo's dad. Idrial would do what she could, really only amounting to hospice care/pain management in his last days. And then, Josefin can fully ascend to the throne as well. I think my only concern with this could be timing. Idrial is probably going to be stuck in Noria for a while yet with what's going on there and what's coming up for her in this roulette thread she's in and another plot I have her signed up for. ((Also, I apologize for inadvertently making Jo stuck in Triston through Noora's letters.)) I think I have an idea for how to make it work, but it could be a little while.
That said, maybe a thread set in the past would be a good idea? It could help establish how they met and also unlock some characters for Jo to interact with who are otherwise stuck in Noria (like Isto, Kira, and Éodred, for example). It could be a larger event or maybe even just a more intimate dinner party. What do you think?
